Fourth conference of media in diaspora and Serbs from region

The Ministry of Religion and Diaspora announced today that the fourth conference of the media in the diaspora and the Serbs from the region will be held in Belgrade on 12 -13 April.
Minister of Religion and Diaspora Srdjan Sreckovic said that representatives of more than 30 media are expected to attend, but also representatives of the Serbian media and relevant institutions from Serbia.
He stressed that the aim of the conference is to bring together journalists and editors of print and electronic media to discuss new cooperation possibilities.
Also, the conference will concern the overcoming of the problems that the media in the diaspora have today as well as ways of better connections with the institutions and the media in Serbia.
The organisers of the conference are the Ministry of Religion and Diaspora, the Ministry of Culture, Media and the Information Society, the Serbian Journalists Association and the Independent Journalists Association of Serbia.
The conference will be held at the Ministry of Religion and Diaspora, in the premises of the Serbian Journalists Association and the Independent Journalists Association of Serbia, according to a statement.
