Two armed members of Kosovo Police arrested in Merdare area

The Serbian Ministry of the Interior stated that members of the Gendarmerie arrested two armed members of the Kosovo Police Service in the area of Merdare this morning around 10.30, who crossed the administrative line and entered the territory of central Serbia.
The arrested Binaku Sukri (1967) and Beciri Sami (1976) were in the uniform of the Kosovo Police Service, armed with service pistols, automatic rifles, and with special equipment for measuring distance and night vision, which is a violation of the Military-Technical Agreement signed in Kumanovo.
The policemen arrested were ordered to remain in police custody up to 48 hours, reads the statement by the Ministry.
