Emergency situation in Serbia revoked

The government passed a decision today to revoke the emergency situation in the Republic of Serbia, except in 23 municipalities.
It was estimated that the results have been achieved in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters in most municipalities and that the consequences of bad weather can be solved through the engagement of regular services.
Emergency situation will still be in force in the municipalities of Kursumlija, Prokuplje, Trgovise, Surdulica, Vladicin Han, Bosilegrad, Vranje, Gornji Milanovac, Lučani, Ivanjica, Crna Trava, Medvedja, Vlasotince, Lebane, Boljevac, Sjenica, Nova Varos, Bajina Basta, Prijepolje, Priboj, Tutin, Novi Pazar and Kraljevo.
The government made this decision following the recommendation of the state staff for emergency situations that coordinates activities on eliminating the effects of a heavy snowfall and extreme cold temperatures, which jeopardised the normal functioning of life, material goods and the environment in Serbia.
Emergency situation will still be in force in the municipalities of Kursumlija, Prokuplje, Trgovise, Surdulica, Vladicin Han, Bosilegrad, Vranje, Gornji Milanovac, Lučani, Ivanjica, Crna Trava, Medvedja, Vlasotince, Lebane, Boljevac, Sjenica, Nova Varos, Bajina Basta, Prijepolje, Priboj, Tutin, Novi Pazar and Kraljevo.
