Due replies to demands of Hague prosecution, defence

The National Council for Cooperation with the Hague tribunal decided at today’s session to deliver documentation and replies to 20 requests by the tribunal’s prosecution and defence.
The session also looked at the current state of cooperation between Serbia and the tribunal in areas within the competence of the National Council, that is, in terms of access to documentation, archives of state organs and witnesses.
It was concluded that all requests by defendants’ defence and the tribunal have been responded to in due time and that only recent requests are being processed.
In the period ahead the National Council will take the necessary measures to make sure cooperation in these areas unfolds unobstructedly.
