Representatives of Ministry of Economy and Workers' Resistance meet

Representatives of the Serbian Ministry of Economy met today at the Serbian government with representatives of the "Workers' Resistance" from Kragujevac, who requested that former employees of the Zastava Group from Kragujevac be paid part of their overdue salaries for the period before the break up of the Zastava Group.
In association with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, representatives of the Ministry proposed to representatives of the "Workers' Resistance" a signing of agreements between the Ministry and companies of the former Zastava Group within a period three weeks at the latest for the payment of overdue salaries to former employees and those currently employed.
Representatives of the "Workers' Resistance" did not accept this proposal.
