Minister without Portfolio Sulejman Ugljanin talked today with Luxembourg’s Minister of Labour, Employment and Migration Nicolas Schmit about the large number of asylum seekers from Serbia in Luxembourg.
They talked about the possibility to finance projects which will enable the survival of all potential asylum seekers, as well as projects that will help them to return to Serbia and find employment there.
Ugljanin stressed that together with the EU, Serbia must work to improve the lives of its citizens and prevent further migrations to Luxembourg and other countries by resorting to these socio-economic measures.
Serbian Ambassador to Luxembourg Petar Pavic also attended the meeting at which Ugljanin thanked Luxembourg for its support to Serbia’s EU integration, the Minister’s cabinet says in a statement.
