Sport is not just results, but also has an excellent educational role, which the organisation "Generations for Peace" managed to recognise, the Minister said and thanked the princess for her visit to Serbia.
Princess of Jordan Sarah Al-Feisal is on visit to Belgrade on the occasion of the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Serbian Olympic Committee.
Sarah Al-Feisal said that the organisation is active in 48 countries on three continents, and it started cooperation with Serbia a year and a half ago through work with young volunteers.
We work with young volunteers who, with their energy and enthusiasm, implement our programmes in Belgrade and Serbia, she said, and expressed satisfaction with cooperation with the Serbian Olympic Committee, without which it would not be possible to implement programmes in the right way.
The meeting was attended by President of the Serbian Olympic Committee Vlade Divac who expressed satisfaction with the fact that he will sign today the Memorandum of Understanding with an organisation that advocates establishing peace and friendship in the world through sport.
“Generations for Peace” is an organisation that operates on a global level, and its founder is Prince of Jordan Feisal bin Al Hussein, who is also a member of the International Olympic Committee.
