Ljajic said at a meeting with the IMF delegation, headed by IMF Regional Representative for Central and Eastern Europe Mark Allen, that the revised budget for 2011 ensured regular payment of social benefits by the end of the year.
Speaking of budget planning for 2012, the Minister noted that the projected demand of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy is RSD 120 billion.
As for the possible changes to the Labour law, Ljajic informed Allen that the Social-Economic Council submitted a proposal of some changes to that act.
If agreed by all social partners, the proposed amendments of the Labour law will be passed to the government and then to parliament, said the Minister.
