The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government today stated that together with the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SKGO) it is organising the 3rd fair of local self-governments on 9–11 November at Hall 5 of the Belgrade Fairgrounds, which will gather over 100 exhibitors.
The statement adds that President Boris Tadic will open the fair, while Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government Milan Markovic, Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas and SKGO President Sasa Paunovic will welcome those present.
The fair is an excellent opportunity for local self-governments to present their activities to domestic and foreign companies, namely potential investors, including donors and other guests from Serbia and abroad.
Towns and municipalities will also be able to share their experiences and present good practice in the work of local authorities.
Round-table discussions, panel discussion and theme events will be held as part of the fair to help exchange opinions, suggest proposals and present concrete initiatives to representatives from the government and relevant ministries, the SKGO and donors active in Serbia, the statement adds.
