Mrkonjic on visit to Italy

Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Milutin Mrkonjic will visit Rome tomorrow where he will sign with Italian Minister of Economic Development Paolo Romani an agreement on energy cooperation between the two countries.
A statement of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy states that with this agreement the Italian government guarantees the purchase price for energy from renewable sources, which will be exported to the Italian market.
The Italian government pledges to purchase all the energy produced from the common facilities and to pay €155 per megawatt hour.
The meeting will also deal with realisation of other projects, including cooperation of electric power industry of Serbia Elektroprivreda Srbije and the Italian company Edison, which should invest over €1 billion in the project Kolubara B, the statement adds.
