Government adopts report on implementation of EU integration programme

The EU Integration Office stated that the Serbian government adopted at its session yesterday the Report on the implementation of the National programme for EU integration (NPI) for period July – September 2011.
In this period, the plan was fulfilled 97%, which means that 66 out of 68 planned tasks were carried out.
Concerning laws, out of 7 planned, the government adopted three bills – the Bill on civil procedure, the Bill on criminal procedure and the Bill on market surveillance.
The Bill on restitution of confiscated property and indemnification was overdue from the previous period and was adopted in this one, whereas three bills were adopted in advance – The Bill on railway, the Bill on maritime navigation and the Bill on contractual relations and basics of property relations in air traffic.
The Serbian Parliament adopted five laws included in the NPI – the Energy Law, the Law on amendments to the Law on air traffic, the Civil Procedure Law, the Criminal Procedure Code and the Law on restitution of confiscated property and indemnification.
