Dacic underlined that Serbia and Lithuania are friendly countries and underlined that this declaration represents a significant encouragement for deepening bilateral cooperation.
He announced that the agreement on strengthening police cooperation between the two countries, which he described as good, should be signed soon.
Serbia should make use of Lithuania’s experience in the EU integration in the period ahead and we are ready to cooperate as closely as we can in this matter, Dacic said.
Both countries believe that we should develop our relations not only in terms of interior matters, but in other remits as well, and that all past conflicts and disputes, pertaining to investments of Lithuanian companies in Serbia, should be resolved, Dacic observed.
We can be glad at the fact that these disputes will be resolved peacefully, through arbitration, Dacic said, adding that the development of the political relations between their countries will now move upwards in all spheres.
Dacic voiced his pleasure at the fact that the Lithuanian Parliament is in the process of ratifying the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Serbia.
