Investors from diaspora may help to recover Serbian economy

The Ministry of Religion and the Diaspora stated that Minister Srdjan Sreckovic met with Serbian businesspeople in Chicago today and presented them Serbia’s investment catalogue.
Sreckovic invited Serbian businesspeople to invest in Serbia and make profit because Serbia is a modern state which keeps up the pace with contemporary investment trends and aspires to ensure stimulating conditions for foreign investors.
He noted that investors from the diaspora may make a great contribution to the recovery of Serbia and the new investment cycle.
The Minister also invited the businesspeople in Chicago to offer the investment catalogue to their foreign partners.
This is the first time that a state organ has brought together so many concrete and developed investment projects, he observed.
Sreckovic noted that the largest number of projects refer to investment in tourism, followed by the industrial zone and infrastructure, adding that the catalogue is a DVD edition with 193 concrete projects in 68 Serbian municipalities intended for investors, especially from the diaspora.
Apart from DVD “Investment Possibilities in Serbian Municipalities and Towns”, the Minister also briefed Chicago businesspeople about the updated brochure “Why to Invest in Serbia.”
