Boosting economic cooperation with diaspora

The Ministry of Religion and the Diaspora today announced that the diaspora will be more intensively informed about the possibilities of economic cooperation with the homeland, while special attention will be paid to the promotion of the transfer of remittances to Serbia through formal channels.
The statement adds that in the period ahead, business forums will be organised for businesspeople from the diaspora, as well as bilateral gatherings as a form of presenting the Serbian economy to the diaspora.
The intention was to present projects of economic, utility and social infrastructure and to stimulate investment in this area, while special attention will be paid to agriculture and food industry as Serbia’s development opportunities, the statement adds.
