Ciric at annual meeting of Austrian-Serbian business forum

Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric will be on a visit to Austria today and tomorrow to participate at the annual meeting of the Austrian-Serbian business forum.
The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development said that Ciric will speak about the current economic situation in Serbia, opportunities for business and investment as well as government measures adopted after the crisis to revive production and exports.
Members of the forum are the most important Austrian companies operating in the Serbian market as well as a number of Serbian companies. In Vienna, Ciric is to meet with the Austrian Parliament’s Chair of the Committee on Economy and the President of the Serbian-Austrian Friendship Society.
Ciric will also talk with State Secretary of the Austrian Ministry of Finance and with representatives of several major Austrian companies that already operate in the Serbian market and that are interested in expanding investment. Austria is the biggest investor in Serbian economy with $3 billion. It takes the fourth position by the number of projects. There are more than 300 Austrian companies currently operating in Serbia, the statement said.
