The Ministry says in a statement that in a friendly and constructive conversation they shared their experience about cooperation in education so far, agreeing that it has been on the upwards scale and that there is room for advancement in both education and other sectors.
Obradovic acquainted his collocutors with the current situation in the Serbian education system and with the government’s plans, measures and activities undertaken with the aim of improving the education system, with a special emphasis on higher education and defining a strategy for further development.
Huiqing said that since 2009, when Serbia and China signed a Programme of Cooperation in Education by 2013, major progress has been made in this remit.
They agreed on guidelines for further cooperation in education, especially in terms of mobility of students, professors and researches, with a note that universities and faculties will be the main factor of cooperation.
