The Foreign Ministry announced that at today's meeting of the Joint Committee for the distribution of diplomatic and consular property of the former Yugoslavia terms for the takeover of property from the region of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) have been agreed.
All successor states have agreed that the first phase of the handover should be done by 31 August, while the distribution in the region OECD should be fully completed by 31 August 2012.
The meeting also discussed further division of cultural heritage of the former Yugoslavia located in the diplomatic and consular missions abroad.
All successor states have agreed to make every effort to intensify work on reaching an agreement on further division of real estate from other regions, as set forth in Annex B of the Agreement on Succession Issues.
This process will be completed no later than the end of 2011.
The next meeting of the Joint Committee will be held in Sarajevo, to be organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia -Herzegovina, the statement added.
