Recommendation to sport associations to pay respects to victims in Japan with minute of silence

The Ministry of Youth and Sport proposed today to national sport associations to pay respects to victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan with a minute of silence in all official competitions in the next seven days.
The Ministry of Youth and Sport expresses deep regret for the tragic events that hit Japan, and since the sport cooperation between Serbia and Japan have always been at a high level, national sports associations should pay respects to victims in that country with a minute of silence, reads the statement.
