Possibilities for establishing military economic cooperation between Serbia, Congo

Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac said today during the talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Alexis Mwamba that there are opportunities for establishing military economic cooperation between the two countries.
Sutanovac recalled that in early February this year the Serbian ministry sent the Draft agreement on cooperation in the field of defence to the Ministry of Defence of the Congo, on the basis of which it is possible to establish military economic and military medical cooperation between the two countries.
He briefed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo about reforms in Serbia’s defence system, particularly in the field of military education and health, adding that this visit is a good opportunity to promote the traditional friendly relations between Serbia and the Congo.
Sutanovac expressed gratitude for the support of the Congo on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija.
Mwamba said that he highly appreciates the participation of representatives of the Serbian Army in the UN MOUNSCO mission, noting that the presence of the Serbian medical team is very important.
