Serbian soldiers not involved in conflicts in Libya

The Ministry of Defence stated today that Serbian soldiers and retired military employees are not involved in the events in Libya in any way whatsoever.
In a statement, issued in response to allegations by certain Arab media, it is highlighted that Serbian aircraft and pilots never took part in any combat activities outside Serbia’s borders.
Through successful diplomatic activities, the Ministry of Defence has established outstanding relations with other relevant ministries in the world, including the Libyan Ministry of Defence, but at the moment, due to the current situation, all joint activities have been put on hold, the statement adds.
