Tadic extends greetings on Serbian Army Day

The Ministry of Defence stated today that Serbian President Boris Tadic extended greetings to all members of the Serbian Army on the occasion of 15 February, the Army Day.
"By celebrating the Statehood Day and the Day of the Serbian Army on 15 February, the deepest historical and traditional tie in the creation and building of our state and its army has been restored.
The Serbian Army has carried out many big tasks last year, one of the biggest being its professionalisation, which is a big step forward in creating a strong and modern army which is developing in accordance with the highest international standards, as a secure support to peace in the region and a guarantee of stability and prosperity of our country.
I am convinced that members of the army will continue to fulfil their tasks responsibly and professionally. I wish you a happy holiday, with the desire to successfully continue the process of reform that you started and to strengthen the operational and functional capability of the Serbian Army ", reads the greeting of the President of Serbia.
