Serbia, Norway sign Plan of bilateral military cooperation for 2011

Belgrade, 2 February 2011

The Ministry of Defence stated that Head of the Directorate for International Military Cooperation Milorad Peric and Head of the Directorate for International Security and Defence Policy of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence Kjersti Klebo signed today the Plan of bilateral military cooperation for 2011.

The statement by the Ministry reads that bilateral cooperation in the field of defence between the ministries of Norway and Serbia is intensive and will be continued through senior level visits and in the field of military medicine, reform of the security sector and military education.

Norway will continue to support Serbia’s activities in regional initiatives and through financial support in the development of capacities that Serbia offers as regional centres.
