Serbia does its level best to speed up European integration

Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac spoke today with European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin about Serbia’s European integration and reform of the defence system.
Sutanovac underlined that Serbia is doing its level best to accelerate European integration process as much as it can.
He said that Serbian Army members are ready to join EU multinational operations after Serbia signs the framework agreement on EU civil and military missions.
Kacin welcomed successful implementation of the process of professionalisation of the Serbian Army and noted that standardisation of the Serbian Army is very important for further integration of Serbia into the EU.
He announced that in January the European Parliament will adopt a resolution on Serbia’s good progress in European integration.
