Unsatisfactory conditions for elections in Kosovo-Metohija

The Serbian government issued a statement concerning the extraordinary parliamentary election in Kosovo-Metohija, announced by the Pristina institutions, saying that conditions have not been met for the Serbian population to be called to go to the polls.
The government believes that Belgrade and Pristina must engage in dialogue and reach a sustainable and lasting solution as soon as possible, which would be acceptable to both sides and which would lead to true reconciliation between the Serbian and Albanian people and ensure lasting peace and a European perspective for the entire region.
