Diaspora called on to help Kraljevo citizens

Minister for Diaspora Srdjan Sreckovic called on Serbs from diaspora to help the citizens of Kraljevo after the devastating earthquake struck the city.
In his written statement Sreckovic said that thousands of buildings are heavily damaged, while a large number of people were left homeless.
Kraljevo is in need of humanitarian assistance and it is time to further enhance the activities and to solve the problems of the population, outlined Sreckovic.
He recalled that diaspora have always been there for their homeland – in the care of refugees, in the construction of buildings after the bombing of Serbia in 1999, in the assistance to IDPs from Kosovo-Metohija, as well as those who remained in the province.
Also, diaspora invested in the renovation of our infrastructure, settlements, bridges, roads and buildings, emphasised the Minister.
