Matic at Government Leaders Forum in London

Minister of Telecommunications and Information Society Jasna Matic will attend Microsoft’s Government Leaders Forum in London on 3 and 4 November.
The Ministry states that at the Forum, which will be attended by European Vice Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes, Matic will hold a presentation on competitiveness and present the Digital Agenda Serbia and the Digital School Project.
Minister Matic is the first Serbian representative to have been given an opportunity to meet with Microsoft Executive Director Steve Ballmer and discuss the future cooperation between Serbia and Microsoft.
The topic of this year’s forum is “Building a Smarter, Sustainable and Inclusive Europe – EU 2020 in Action”, which will seek ways for Europeans to increase competitiveness in order to build a sustainable European future.
The goal of the forum is to look into the role of information and communications technology in this sector, to improve cooperation among states and encourage solutions which will positively affect European governments and their mutual cooperation.
