Sutanovac in Libya yesterday met with Libyan Prime Minister Al Baghdadi Ali Al Mahmoudi and Libyan Minister of Defence and Chief of Staff of the Libyan Military Major-General Abu-Bakr Younis Jaber.
The main topic of discussion was the military-economic cooperation, as well as opportunities for improvement and development, said the Ministry of Defence.
The two ministers emphasised the importance of Libya's cooperation in the field of military education, training and development, primarily Libyan cadets at the Military Academy in Belgrade.
Sutanovac in June this year headed a delegation of the Ministry of Defence to Libya, which was the first time in 25 years that a delegation from Belgrade paid an official visit to Libya.
The two defence ministers then signed an agreement on military-technical cooperation between the two countries.
Serbia and Libya have a long tradition of friendly relations and successful cooperation, which will be continued in future, said in a statement.
