16 detained for violent behaviour at Kelebija border crossing

The Ministry of the Interior declared today that police officers from the Police Administration in Subotica and at the Kelebija border crossing have been monitoring Serbian football fans returning back to Serbia, who disrupted the Italy-Serbia match in Genoa three days ago and caused disorder in the city afterwards.
The statement continues that so far the police have checked 17 persons who arrived by bus at Kelebija border crossing.
Out of this number, 16 have been detained for 48 hours on suspicion of having committed the criminal act of violent behaviour at sports events. These are Nemanja R. (23), Milos J. (24), Dragan J. (23), Marko P. (28), Bora B. (32), Tomica J. (29), Dejan D. (36) and Nikola S. (26) from Belgrade and Bogdan M. (28), Nemanja M. (27), Vanja P. (22), Darko T. (24), Lazar P. (32), Radojko M. (31), Dragan L. (24) and Dejan S. (34) from Novi Sad.
The suspects will be taken before the magistrate at Subotica High Court, the statement adds.
