Katsu to propose new release of funds to Serbia-Montenegro

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Shigeo Katsu. The World Bank official told Kostunica that he will propose to the bank's Board of Governors a release of another tranche of funds to Serbia-Montenegro under the Country Assistance Strategies programme (CAS).

Kostunica said that the Serbian government's priorities are creating a favourable economic environment, legal privatisation, fight against corruption and reform of the state administration and judiciary.
