Government suspends military service duty

The government adopted at its session today a Bill amending the Law on compulsory traffic insurance.
The government decided to suspend military service duty and sent this decision to the parliament for adoption. As of 1 January 2011, military service will be only for those who voluntarily want to be army members.
A Regulation on the production and sale of milk was also adopted. A fine of RSD 100,000 to RSD 2 million will be imposed on those who fail to comply with this regulation.
A Regulation on determining the tasks of the security protection of particular persons and facilities was also adopted today.
