Reforms in defence system in line with EU standards

Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac briefed EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule about the reforms implemented in the defence system.
The Ministry says in a statement that Sutanovac briefed Fule about plans to include the Serbian Army in the EU’s joint security and defence policy and notified him about the overall course of reforms in Serbia.
Fule welcomed the level of reforms achieved so far, adding that it is in line with European standards.
The EU Enlargement Commissioner said that an extremely important segment of the EU process in Serbia, as well as of the improvement of regional cooperation among Western Balkan states, since it improves overall security, the statement adds.
