Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and his Croatian counterpart Ivo Sanader talked via telephone today to confirm their firm resolve that cooperation between Belgrade and Zagreb should continue as it was agreed on Croatian Prime Minister’s recent visit to Serbia.

Kostunica and Sanader concluded that the cooperation of Serbia and Croatia is significant for the whole region and for the stability of Southeastern Europe. The two officials agreed that it is necessary to establish mutual cooperation with the aim of overcoming and solving the problems occurring between the two countries.
The joint statement issued after the telephone conversation reads that the two prime ministers showed joint resolve that their two countries join international integration, confirming their joint stance and political readiness for solving open issues between the two countries.
