The government adopted a bill affirming an agreement between Serbia and Russia on cooperation in humanitarian response in emergency situations, prevention of natural disasters and technological hazards and clearing up their consequences.
At today’s session it also adopted a bill amending the Law on tourism and a bill amending the Law on health care.
It also passed decisions affirming that certain projects fulfil the conditions for realisation in line with the Law on encouraging the construction industry in Serbia in the time of crises.
These include a project to reconstruct and build a railway to the new harbour on the Danube in Smederevo and another 117 projects on the territory of Vojvodina, Belgrade, Nis and Novi Pazar.
In addition, the government adopted a Letter of Intention, accepting the goals and measures of economic policy by the end of 2010 and for 2011, previously agreed upon with the IMF as part of the fifth revision of the stand-by arrangement.
The government passed a decree to harmonise customs tariffs for 2010 and adopted a decision to set up general hospitals in Pirot and Pozarevac.
