The law introduces a number of services, completely in line with European and international standards. The law will also establish criteria based on which the number of people eligible to receive social benefits will be increased.
The law will be adopted by the end of this year and its full implementation will require a further RSD 4 billion, the Minister said.
Jaeger was interested in the dynamics of the implementation of a RSD 1.5 billion social welfare package for the most vulnerable population groups during the crisis, which was agreed upon during the last visit by the IMF delegation to Serbia.
Ljajic confirmed that funds for implementing these measures have been partially secured and the rest will come from the budget revision.
