Serbia’s cooperation with ICTY to remain at current level

The National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) adopted decisions at its session today on submitting the requested documentation and responding to the demands of the Tribunal’s Prosecutor’s Office and defence lawyers.
The Council concluded that recent reports of the ICTY president and the chief prosecutor confirm that Serbia’s cooperation with the Tribunal is at a very high level.
Bearing this in mind, as well as the fact that cooperation is a process that will last as long as the Tribunal exists, the Council confirmed its full commitment to maintaining cooperation with the Tribunal at the current level, reads the statement by the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY.
