Government ready to support large-scale investors

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic said today that the Serbian government is ready to support large-scale investors such as German company Messer Tehnogas that has been doing business in Serbia for the past 13 years.

After talks with the owner of the company in Smederevo Stefan Messer, Dinkic stated that the good news is that this German company has picked Serbia as its central investment in the region.
He recalled that Messer, which produces gases for medicinal use and a wide variety of gas mixtures, is one of the biggest investors in Serbia.
Messer confirmed that the company is very satisfied with the business conditions in Serbia, adding that he expects even more business in the future.
He also invited German and all other companies to come and invest in Serbia.
Messer Tehnogas AD from Smederevo makes an annual turnover of more than €48 million and currently has about 370 employees, modern equipment and facilities in eight cities.
