A Bill on amendments to the Law on tax procedure and tax administration was passed. A Bill on amendments to the Law on games of chance was adopted.
Decrees were passed on the criteria and procedure of approving programmes and projects which are to be carried out as part of the Clean Development Mechanism, and on finalising a 2010 programme for the distribution and use of funds for loans to businesses connected to the food industry.
A Decree was passed on the rescheduling and release from paying default interest on approved long term loans for financing registered farms to physical and legal entities in order to encourage agricultural development. A Decree was approved on release from paying default interest on short term loans to farmers.
The government adopted an additional programme of subsidised consumer loans in Serbian dinars for the purchase of domestically-produced software, intended for companies and entrepreneurs. The loan conditions will be a 12-month grace period, a three-year repayment period and a 7.5% annual interest rate.
The government passed a Decision amending the Decision on setting up the National Regional Development Agency, whose headquarters will be moved from Belgrade to Zajecar.
The government appointed coordinators for the municipalities of Podujevo, Djakovica, Suva Reka, Decani, Prizren, Urosevac and Klina, whose municipal assemblies were disbanded by a government decision last week.
Also, a Decision on the highest prices of medicines for use in human medicine that are issued on prescription was adopted.
At its session today, the government looked into the situation in flooded areas. It was decided that funds for helping these areas should be set aside as soon as possible.
