Prime Minister Kostunica offers condolences on death of Yasser Arafat

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has sent the Serbian government's and his personal condolences to Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia on the death of Palestinian President Yassar Arafat.
"In this sad and difficult moment for the people of Palestine, let me express my sincere wish for establishing a lasting and just peace in the Middle East through continuation of a peace process, which is in the interest of all peoples in the region", Kostunica said in the telegram.
