State Secretary of Labour and Social Policy Snezana Lakicevic-Stojacic, speaking at the 99th session of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Geneva, stated that strengthening social dialogue is one of the Serbian government’s priorities.
The Ministry says in a statement that Lakicevic-Stojacic, who headed a Serbian delegation to Geneva, said that government priorities are also the creation of new jobs, adequate salaries and the implementation of fundamental labour-related principles.
She recalled that Serbia has ratified all fundamental ILO conventions and is committed to its principles.
Lakicevic-Stojacic noted that the ILO sessions help to further boost social solidarity and establish social stability in the world. They are also the driving force of a strong social partnership at a national and international level, she added.
