Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with a delegation of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs, comprising Oliver Ivanovic, Dragisa Krstovic, Goran Bogdanovic and Randjel Nojkic. Coordinating Centre Head Nebojsa Covic and the chairmen of the parliament's Kosovo-Metohija committees, Veljko Odalovic and Dusan Prorokovic, also attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on Serbia's policy in Kosovo-Metohija and steps to be taken by state bodies and Kosovo-Metohija Serb representatives.
The participants in the meeting highlighted the importance of resuming decentralisation talks and agreed that the Serbian government's plan for Kosovo-Metohija lays the framework for decentralisation talks, in which Belgrade must participate equally.
They further underscored the importance of the meeting, noting that talks must be resumed in order to produce a common stance on how to improve the institutional position of the Kosovo-Metohija Serb community.
