Bill on accreditation passed

At its session today, the Serbian government passed a bill on accreditation which will regulate accreditation procedures, the position and function of national accreditation bodies and other issues related to accreditation.
A bill was passed on amendments to the Law on public administration, establishing a duty for state administrative organs to inspect and gather registry data, which confirms that the state administration works as a service to clients and citizens.
The proposed amendments will also support the introduction and use of information technology in public administration.
The government also adopted a bill on amendments to the Law on salaries in state organs and public services, which will make it possible to implement reforms of the system for financing health insurance from funds for obligatory health insurance.
The government passed a Conclusion concerning the adoption of a draft letter of intent which approves revised economic policy objectives and measures for 2010 – 2011, agreed upon with the IMF, and a technical memorandum of understanding.
A Decision on the formation of a working group for the implementation of measures for the professionalization of the Serbian Army was passed.
The government approved a Decree on amendments to the Decree on terms and conditions for subsidising interest rates for consumer loans, loans to legal entities, financial leasing and loans for the purchase of certain consumer goods and holidays.
A conclusion was adopted concerning the return of civil registries which were taken for making records in line with the Law on national civil registries, and were in the custody of the Church or religious community bodies.
