The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management stated today that it organised a two-day meeting of the CEFTA Subcommittee on Agriculture Including Sanitary and Phytosanitary Issues.
The statement adds that the meeting, which is taking place today and tomorrow in Belgrade, was organised as part of Serbia’s CEFTA presidency.
Delegations from CEFTA member countries will discuss the enforcement of agricultural concessions for further trade liberalisation within the CEFTA zone.
The participants will also contemplate non-customs and technical barriers regarding the trade in agricultural products, share experiences about the best practice for synchronising legislature for sanitary and phytosanitary measures with those of the EU and adopt a work programme for the Committee for 2010.
