Kostunica, who is attending an interreligious dialogue in Thessaloniki today, said that the problem of Kosovo-Metohija's final status must not be resolved in haste. According to him, it would be fatal to address the province's final status without first resolving the problem of human rights violation there.
The Prime Minister also informed Karamanlis about this morning's incident on the Serbian-Macedonian border, which nearly prevented Bishop Irinej from arriving into Greece, and described the incident as an act of discrimination that threw a shadow over ongoing efforts to improve regional cooperation.
