The Serbian Ministry for the Diaspora stated today that Pantelejmon Jovanovic, Rector of St Thomas's Orthodox Church in Johannesburg has been elected to represent Serbs in South Africa and other African countries in the Serb diaspora assembly.
Pantelejmon Jovanovic was elected on the basis of the work he did together with Serbian government ministries during the past decade. He will be one of the 45 delegates from around the world.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry, the assembly will be formed under the Diaspora Law in June this year.
