Ciplic, Kacin discuss process of European integration in Serbia

Minister of Human and Minority Rights Svetozar Ciplic talked with European parliament Rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin today, who is on a visit to Belgrade for the purpose of preparing a report on Serbia’s progress in the process of European integration.
Ciplic and Kacin discussed this process in Serbia, the economic crisis, plans for exit from the crisis, the work of courts and prosecutor’s offices and cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
Other topics discussed were elections for national councils of national minorities, the position of the Roma, relations with the Bulgarian national minority, future projects and programmes related to financing national councils, IPA projects for building capacity of national councils, problems of LGBT population and activities of their organisations, reads a statement by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights.
