Representatives of the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and regional offices of Save the Children Norway agreed to launch a regional project today combating the problem of child pornography.
Under this three-year project, state institutions in cooperation with non-governmental organisations will work to change legislation and education regarding this issue and will also open SOS phones.
The Interior Ministry will receive basic software and hardware equipment that will enable efficient operation in the fight against child pornography, said a statement adding that the activities in the project are planned to start in April this year.
