The government also adopted a bill on changes and amendments to the Law on the Action Plan for economic harmonisation between Serbia and Montenegro, with the aim of removing obstacles in the way of free movement of capital, labour, goods, and services.
Also as part of today’s session, the government adopted the Strategy for public administration reform and amended the Decree on salaries in public services.
The government adopted the Conclusion on salaries in the education, culture, and social protection sectors.
The government also approved 7.5 million dinars from the state budget towards funding Serbia’s share of costs related to Serbia-Montenegro’s candidacy to organise the 2010 World Basketball Championship.
Funds were also approved for the Serbian State Lottery’s equity capital as well as for financing the publishing of the Serbian Encyclopedia and a campaign to avert violence at sport venues.
The government adopted the Information on the need to sign an agreement on cooperation between Serbian and Austrian interior ministries in the fight against cross-border organised crime, trafficking in human beings, and international terrorism.
