Dulic talks with Indonesian President

The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning stated that Minister Oliver Dulic met with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in Bali.
Dulic and Yudhoyono discussed the work of the Governing Council of the UNEP Global Ministerial Environment Forum, together with the possibilities of reaching agreement over a joint declaration that will represent a balanced political document for attaining environmental sustainability in the world, the statement adds.
Dulic thanked the Indonesian President for his country’s principled stance regarding the issue of Kosovo-Metohija.
He stressed that Indonesia, being a country with the largest number of Muslim population, is quite influential among other Asian and African states, with its support in the efforts to reach a solution to the Kosovo-Metohija issue through compromise being a great comfort to Serbia’s state policy.
Yudhoyono noted that the respect of international law is the cornerstone of Indonesian foreign policy, adding that his country will not recognise the illegally proclaimed independence of Kosovo-Metohija.
Dulic is visiting Indonesia in the capacity of President of the Governing Council of the UNEP Global Ministerial Environment Forum, comprising 140 environmental ministers from all over the world, the statement recalls, adding that in Nairobi last year Serbia took over the two-year presidency of the UNEP.
