Car bomb goes off in Bujanovac

The Ministry of the Interior stated that at around 21.00 last night in Bujanovac an explosive device was placed under a Peugeot vehicle steered by a Ministry employee Bljerim Mustafa.

The statement adds that the car was parked on the pavement and that the bomb went off when Mustafa and his wife got in and started the engine.
Mustafa suffered heavy injuries, while his wife and two other persons were not seriously hurt.
The injured received medical attention and the wounded police officer was transported to the Emergency Centre in Belgrade.
The special police unit will carry out an investigation on site, the statement adds.
