Delegation of Trade Ministry at Investment Forum of Italy and countries of Southeast Europe

The Ministry of Trade and Services announced that its representatives will participate on February 11 and 12 at the Investment Forum of Italy and the countries of Southeast Europe in Verona.

The Ministry of Trade and Services stated that the two-day meeting will gather ministers from Central and Southeast Europe and investors and representatives of business associations of entrepreneurs from these countries.

Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic will present business conditions in Serbia and investment opportunities to potential investors whereas Assistant Minister Nebojsa Lazarevic will chair the round table discussions on trade.

At the same time in Verona, trade ministers of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative will meet. Its members include Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece.

At this meeting, Milosavljevic will sign a protocol on cooperation for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) whose aim is to strengthen and develop SMEs in the countries of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative.

The protocol provides for the exchange of experience and knowledge in this area, greater cooperation between the public and private sectors, as well as the preparation of cross-border projects within the programme, implemented by the European Commission and international financial institutions, added the statement.
